Use pasting method to typesetting and make ID photos in Photoshop

Open a cropped 2-inch ID photo (size: 3.3cmX4.8cm, resolution: 320 pixels/inch), as shown in Figure 1:

Open the application menu and execute the command "Image > Canvas Size (the shortcut key in CS3 is "Alt+Ctrl+C")". The canvas size is set to: width 3.5cm, height 5.0cm, as shown in Figure 2

Open the application menu and execute the "Select>All (shortcut key is "Ctrl+A")" command.

Execute the command "Edit>Copy (shortcut key is "Ctrl+C")",

Execute the command "Image > Canvas Size (the shortcut key in CS3 is "Alt+Ctrl+C")" and set the canvas size to: 8.0cm wide and 12.0cm high. Pay attention to the positioning of the image, as shown in Figure 3:

Execute the "Edit > Paste (shortcut key is Ctrl+V)" command, position the image, then paste (paste as many as you need), and position, as shown in Figure 4:

After merging the layers, set the canvas size again: 8.9cm wide and 12.7cm high (the size of the 3R photo), as shown in Figure 5:

You can take it to the color enlargement store for enlargement.

After understanding the principle of this method, ID photos of other sizes can also be typed, such as arranging 1-inch ID photos on 3R photos, 1-inch, 2-inch ID photos on 4R, 5R, etc.
