Don’t worry when you find that the colors in your photos don’t express the overflowing beauty of spring. The Lab mode in Photoshop is the colorful brush in your hand. Let us wave the "paint brush" together to add a bit of vitality to the spring scenery.
Tips:
Lab mode in Photoshop is a color mode that does not rely on external devices. It consists of brightness (L) channel, a channel and b channel. Among them, the brightness ranges from 0 to 100; a represents from green to red, b represents from blue to yellow, and the color values of a and b both range from -120 to 120. These three channels include all color information.
Lab mode also supports multiple layers, with three monochromatic channels L, a, and b and color channels mixed by them.
In theory, Lab mode can create all colors. Its color range covers all colors in RGB mode and CMYK mode. When RGB mode and CMYK mode are converted to Lab mode, their color information will not be lost. Therefore, when converting RGB mode and CMYK mode to each other, they actually need to be converted to Lab mode first.
Step One: Preparation
Press the "Ctrl+O" key combination to open the material file. Due to the camera or lighting, the supposed charming green water and green mountains are cast a light gray. This makes us feel a little depressed (Figure 1).

Okay, you're done! Are the green photos now clearer and brighter? The Lab mode in Photoshop is like the spring breeze, returning clarity to the river and green to the earth! As the saying goes, "The spring breeze returns again." Green River South Bank"!
Working with Lab Mode is a fascinating thing to do in Photoshop. In this process, you will re-understand colors like a painter, capture the freshest vision, and be immersed in the emotions brought by various strange colors. It is the most complex and concise color symphony. It brings us an immersive feeling. It is a long-lost touch for us. This wonderful feeling is like dreaming back to the woods, flowers and blue sky of childhood.
