Effect 1:
Without further ado, let’s start with the original film:
1. Let’s start by using soft light to make the picture richer in color.
2. Because what I wanted from the beginning was to make the character an angel. An angel’s whole body should be illuminated and it should be very prominent, so I took out the task and copied a layer with the same layer mode of soft light. You will find that your hair is a little darker and your tasks are a little brighter.
3. Then I started to make the color tone of the background. The color of the leaves was too dark and not dreamy. Let’s make it more dreamy. Since we are adjusting the leaves, first select green, and then use the color picker to click on the leaves. You can adjust it according to your own feelings. I just follow my feelings. Just feel good about yourself
4. The color of the grass is also matched, and the hue/saturation is adjusted in the same way. Then select green grass and pull the hue to the left. The grass will turn red to match the leaves.
5. Then I started to make the sky. As you can see in the original picture, it is a mountain. It is an ugly mountain. At least I don’t know how to make it look good, so I simply made it into a sky. This belongs to the combined picture. Tips: (My suggestion for the combined picture is to use two sky layers, both of which are masked to cover up the original unwanted scenery. You can leak more points in the lower picture, and then use soft light to reduce the leakage in the upper picture. Use normal clicks, so the effect will be better) This picture does not need to be so complicated. Just deal with the lower edge and use a brush to paint the mask. It is best to use a soft brush to make it a bit hazy.
6. Next comes the most important character, which is also the overall rendering. Because we want to create the feeling of ANGLE, I have the impression that the angle must emit light as mentioned above. To emit light, I create a new layer and use an elliptical selection box to do it. The maximum feathering is 250, and then create a new layer to focus the light on the surface of the task. Doing this will cause it to be completely white and the image will have no layers, so we darken the image in advance, and then make the overall image bright and dark, and the sky material It's already very dark, so here we use a mask to exclude the sky.
7. Then add the wings. There are many wing brushes on the website, which I won’t go into here. Pay attention to the direction of the wings. If they are crooked and uncoordinated, use deformation to make them fit the picture. Once the wings are done, it is best to make two. For the Gaussian blur of the layer below the layer, you can also use external glow, don't be too exaggerated.
8. Then what we said is to make two layers for flood light. One layer uses a larger circle with a feathering of 250, and the other layer uses a smaller circle with a feathering of 250 and the layer mode is soft light. One thing to remember is to wipe out the sky. The sky will be darkened and give people a sense of oppression. Compared with the angels, the angels will be very refreshing.
9. The next step is to adjust the color balance of the whole picture. I adjust it according to my feelings. I don’t have any personal experience. Every picture is different and I just have to figure it out. The parameters are as follows:
10. Then there are some subtle adjustments, first increase the saturation (full image)
11. Then highlight the highlights and suppress the dark environment tones. This step erases the sky. The parameters are as shown below:
12. Finally, add atmosphere to the picture and use some small modifications, such as snowflakes and small stars. It is best to drag some to the bottom of the layer and some to the top to create a sense of layering. If it is not bright enough, copy it to a few more layers.
13. Just add text at the end and it’s OK
Effect 2:
As for Effect 2, it is done using hue/saturation and color balance. Let's all play freely
Conclusion: It can be said that I practice drawing with you all based on shape and color. I read the technical posts shared by everyone and explored by myself bit by bit. There are many, many things I have to do. I am writing a tutorial for you today because you like the exercises I posted. This post is definitely not meant to be a one-man show. Many places may not be done well and the level is limited. I hope everyone can learn from it.
In addition, I would like to thank the friend who replied to my post. I also feel that the friend who pointed out to me that the layout of my pictures was not good did not notice it when he did it. Thank you very much for pointing it out to me. Thank you for providing me with a place to post. I will continue to work hard, especially Thank you to my models: Modern is also my best friend.
I hope everyone likes my post and can get a little inspiration from my thoughts, which is also the purpose of this post.
