Simple creation of object glow effects using Photoshop

This tutorial introduces some methods of creating the luminous effect of objects. The idea is: first outline the part of the object that needs to shine. You can use radial blur and other methods to create the white light emitted by the object, and then slightly adjust the brightness of the entire picture!

1. Open the original image and use the pen tool to draw out the flowers. Press Ctrl + Enter to turn the path into a selection. Then press Ctrl + C to copy. Press Ctrl + D to cancel the selection. Create a new layer and press Ctrl + V to paste. The flowers will be Copy it to the center of the layer, then bring up the flower selection, click on the channel panel to create a new channel and fill it with white, the effect is as shown in Figure 2

2. Execute the menu: Filter > Distort > Polar Coordinates. The parameter settings are as shown in Figure 3. After confirmation, execute the menu: Image > Rotate Canvas > 90 Degrees Clockwise. After confirmation, execute the menu: Filter > Stylization > Wind parameters are default. After confirmation, press Ctrl + F twice, the effect is as shown in Figure 4

3. Execute the menu: Image > Rotate Canvas > Counterclockwise 90 degrees, then execute the menu: Filter > Distort > Polar Coordinates, the parameter settings are as shown in Figure 5

4. Press Ctrl and click on the channel to bring up the selection, return to the layer version and create a new layer filled with white. The effect is as shown in Figure 5.

5. Move the filled white graphic to the position of the flower and align it, then change the layer blending mode to "Overlay", the effect is as shown in Figure 6

6. Go back to the background layer and press Ctrl + J to copy a layer, press Ctrl + M to adjust the curve, darken the color a little, and the effect is as shown in Figure 7, then add a layer mask to erase the effect on the face and flowers. As shown in Figure 8

7. Go back to the background layer and press Ctrl + J to copy a layer, then change the layer blending mode to "Screen", the effect is as shown in Figure 9

8. Create a new layer, click a few white points, make the motion blur a little larger, and then deform it appropriately and place it in the right position to complete the final effect!
