This time we will try to draw a conceptual design draft of a Chinese-style city built on a mountain.
1. Set the brush so that the color intensity changes with the pressure, and then roughly determine the layout of the scene. Here I only use black and white for drawing.
2. After determining the general layout, continue to deepen with the same brush. Enhance light and shadow effects. Use the lasso tool to select the part of the water surface, and then use a round-head brush to adjust the diameter step by step to depict the water surface. Using selections can greatly improve the efficiency of painting, and common sense will help you find the trick.
3. Use a brush with a hardness of 0% to start painting the sky, paying attention to the representation of distant mountains. Now let's come. The city is embedded in the mountains. There is no line drawing, so we need to have a preliminary plan in mind for the general picture. While paying attention to the structure, you must also consider the issue of light and shadow.
4. Reduce the diameter of the brush to depict architectural details. Make good use of your strokes whenever possible, and you'll get twice the result with half the effort. Add details slowly, draw a sentry tower in the foreground, and add some trees at the foot of the mountain to make the picture more convincing.
5. I felt that the platform in the foreground was too monotonous, so I just added an archway, haha.
6. Now start the finishing work, sharpen the picture, and then adjust the color levels to your satisfaction.
7. After everything is OK, create a new layer with the attribute "color" to turn the black and white into color. Make full use of the convenience of the computer. Completed.
