Foreign English tutorial, I modified it a little bit and made it. More detailed three-dimensional character effect.
Finished effect:
The original English tutorial was really long and seemed a bit wordy, so I was too lazy to flip through it, so I summarized it into three steps. Without the bahaus font it mentioned, it would not look good if I copied it exactly as it was, so I modified it a little bit. According to the opinions of the people downstairs, I have simplified it a bit. Everyone would like to thank the people downstairs.
To create layered three-dimensional colorful text, it seems that we can only do it one letter at a time. Take B as an example.
1. As shown in the picture (I am using the English version, I can only cut out English pictures, there is no other way), don’t look at the layer styles yet. The background is filled with black. Then make two layers of B shapes. Font arial black, 160pt. The lower layer is white; the upper layer is green (you can change it to other colors), and it needs to be moved 9 pixels to the right. In this way, the two layers are staggered.
2. Set the layer style of the white text. As shown in the picture, gloss (I wonder if the Chinese version says this?): set to black and overlay. Angle, distance, etc. are set as shown in the picture. Don’t forget to remove the check boxes. Gradient: Set to normal, the style is reflection (I wonder if the Chinese version says this?) See the picture for other data ticks.
3. Set the layer style of the green text. Drop Shadow: Black 100%, Distance 4, Size 0, Angle 0. Inner Shadow: Set white, color dodge. Other data are shown in the figure. Gradient: Set to Color Darker and Style to Linear. See the picture for checking or not checking other data. Gloss: black, soft light, see the picture for other data check or not.
This is done. If you still want to make other letters, you can create a new style in the layer style and save the styles of the white layer and green layer. This is very convenient. You can use it directly later. You can make a word in a few seconds.
Step 3 was modified by me. If you are interested, please read the original text yourself. The original version was very beautiful, but I only had a square arial font on hand, and it didn’t match the diagonal gradient, so I had to give up.
