1. Open the original image and press Ctrl + J to copy one layer. Use the lasso tool to roughly select the nearby mountain, as shown below.
2. Duplicate layer 1, create a new layer between layer 1 and the copy of layer 1, fill it with white, and then use the eraser tool to erase the cloud effect.
