This picture is an imitation of a photo. There are many hand-painted parts, so you have to be patient. Let’s look at the finished picture first.
1) Create a new 400*500 document with a white background.
2) Make the desktop first. Create a new layer 1, set the foreground color to 202/211/230, the background color to white, and implement the cloud filter. Duplicate this layer. Go back to layer 1 and perform the relief effect in Stylization: Angle -45, Height 2, Amount 500%. Then use a slight Gaussian blur with a radius of about 2. Set the mode of the layer 1 copy to Overlay. In this way, the cloth spread on the table has some wrinkles. Select a copy of layer 1, add a mask, and after resetting the color palette, use a linear gradient, set the opacity to 25%, and drag it from the upper right to the lower left. Merge these two layers and name it "Desktop". (02)
3) Create a new layer, draw a rectangular selection on it, set the foreground color to dark green (0/88/38), the background color to black, and execute clouds. Then use the airbrush to choose a dark purple color and spray it casually. (03)
4) There is a bouquet of flowers on the table, now let’s draw the flowers. Create a new layer, use a brush with a size of about 17, set the fade step to 15, and drag out the flower shape. The color here is 188/191/172. Just drag it as you like, it will still be blurry after a while. Then change the color and draw the flower center. (04)
5) Copy a few flowers, transform and rotate them freely, then put them together and merge them. (05)
6) Build a layer under the flower and use a paintbrush to paint the branches. After the painting is completed, merge it with the flower and use a Gaussian blur of about 4. Then merge it down to the desktop. (06)
7) Create a new layer, draw an ellipse, fill it with blue and black (71/88/111), and save the selection as ALPHA1 for later use. Shrink the selection by about 6 pixels, move it up a few pixels, and then delete it. (07)
8) Name this layer "cup mouth". Use a low-opacity eraser to lightly rub the upper and lower edges to make it translucent, then use the Blur Tool to blur it. (08)
9) Create a layer below the "cup rim" layer, use the ellipse tool to draw the highlights and shadows of the cup rim, and then merge it with the "cup rim" layer. (09)
10) Create a new layer below the "cup mouth" layer and name it "cup body". Draw a rectangle, press CTRL+SHIFT and click ALPHA1 in the channel panel to get a selection, fill it with blue and black (71/88/111). Use perspective to narrow the bottom of the cup body, then draw an elliptical selection and delete it on both sides of the cup to get the curvature of both sides of the cup. Use the same elliptical selection to process the bottom of the cup. (10)
11) Reduce the opacity of the "cup body" to 12%. Create a new layer and use an airbrush to draw some shadows on the cup body and areas stained by candles. Use the eraser to modify and adjust the opacity to fit, then merge it downwards into the cup body. (11)
12) Create a new layer, load the opaque area of the cup body, fill it with light gray, do not deselect it, move the selection up a few pixels and delete it. Add a layer style, select Inner Glow: size about 1 pixel, color black, and slightly lower opacity. Then select the drop shadow: Opacity 50%, Distance 2, Size 2, and leave the rest as default. Go back to the layer, right-click on the "Effect" of this layer, select "Create Layer", separate the effect, use an eraser to modify the inner glow layer, after completion, all these layers will be merged into the "Cup Body" layer. (12)
13) Create a new layer, use a pen to draw a selection just above the bottom of the cup, and use a spray gun to select black and dark green to spray in the selection. Create a new layer, change it to white and spray the highlights. When completed, merge these two layers into the cup body. (13)
14) Create a new layer, name it "Candle Bottom", and draw wax hanging down to the bottom of the cup. Use a pen to draw out the selection, fill it with blue (40/47/125), use an eraser to remove the irregular area on the left, and then use the Dodge tool to do some local dodge. The final Gaussian blur is about 2. (14)
15) Create a new layer below the "Candle Bottom" layer and name it "Candle". Use a pen to outline the candle shape and fill it with blue (60/62/113). Lighten the highlights and shadows on the top and sides of the candle, and deepen the bottom and some parts in the middle. Since the upper part of the candle will be a little red when illuminated by candlelight, create a new layer, choose a light purple color (171/147/183), use an airbrush, reduce the pressure and lightly spray a layer. Merge to the "candle" layer. (15)
16) Create a new layer above the "candle" layer, draw an ellipse on the upper part of the candle, and fill it with dark blue. Double-click the layer to go to Layer Styles and set the Fill in Advanced Blending
Lower the opacity to 25%. Select Bevel and Emboss: Orientation, Size 7, Soften 11, Highlight Opacity 0, Shadow Color dark blue, and leave the rest as default. Go back to the layers and use the blur tool to make some blur, then merge it down to the candle layer. (16)
17) Create a new layer to draw fire. Choose dark blue, use an airbrush to spray out the wax under the candle core, do some partial dodge, and then choose black to draw the candle core. Create a new layer, use a pen to draw a fire shape, and fill it with white. Add a layer style, select Inner Glow, and change the color to light yellow. Then use the spray gun to spray some purple-red on the bottom of the fire. Merge these layers into the "candle" layer. (17)
18) At this time, it was discovered that part of the top of the fire was covered by the "cup mouth" layer. You can use a rubber sassafras to remove the hot part of the cup rim. If you don't want to damage the cup rim, you can use a rectangle to select the upper part of the fire, paste it out, and place it on top of the cup rim. Now that it's basically done, spray some purple on the lip of the cup as a reflection of the fire. (18)
19) The desktop seems a little brighter. Adjust the brightness and contrast. If you don’t want the border flowers to darken at the same time, you can use the magic wand to select the tablecloth, feather it 1-2 times and then adjust it. Finally, create a layer on the table, draw a slight shadow and reflection on the cup, and it's done.
