The material picture of the tutorial is very dim, and the facial features of the characters are almost not obvious. When repairing, you need to carefully repair each part. The tutorial only provides a general explanation of the repair, and you still need to practice the details by yourself.

1. Open the original image material, press Ctrl + J to copy the background layer, and change the layer blending mode to "Screen". The brightness of the image is a bit brighter, but as you can see from the effect, there are a lot of noise on the character's face. Color, and the details of the facial features are almost unclear, so there is a lot of work to be done later.

2. Create a Curves adjustment layer and brighten it appropriately. The effect is as shown in Figure 3.

3. Create a new layer, press Ctrl + Alt + Shift + E to stamp the layer, execute: Filter > Blur > Gaussian Blur, the value is 3, after confirmation, press the Alt key to add a layer mask, and then use a white brush Apply the variegated areas on the face to smoothen the skin for the character. When applying, do not apply the outline of the character's facial features. The approximate effect is shown in Figure 4.

4. Create a new layer and stamp the layer. This step deals with the eyes and nose. First use the pen tool to outline the eye sockets and the lower part of the nose. Press Ctrl + Enter to turn it into a selection and use the burn tool. The exposure is: 5%. Deepen the edges on the left and right, and use even force when deepening. Just make the nose a little darker, add a little black to the nostrils, then darken the eyes, then use the Dodge tool to add highlights, and then modify the details, such as the eyes. The processing of eyelids, lips, eyebrows, and facial contours will not be introduced in detail. The general effect is shown in Figure 6.

5. Create a brightness/contrast adjustment layer. The parameter settings are as shown in Figure 7, and the effect is as shown in Figure 8. At this time, the character basically has a rough model. Later, the height and color need to be adjusted, and the parts need to be slowly refined.
