Today we will learn how to draw a golden egg using Photoshop.
Step 1: Open Photoshop CS4, execute the [File-New] command, create a new 400×400 pixel file, and name it [Golden Egg], as shown in the figure below.
Step 2: Set the foreground color to #825502, select the [Pen Tool] in the toolbox, select the [Shape Layer] mode (not the path mode) in the option bar, and draw the shape as shown below.
Step 3: Right-click on the thumbnail of the [Shape 1] layer, select [Rasterize Layer] in the pop-up shortcut menu, convert the shape layer just drawn into a normal layer, and This layer is named [Egg].
Step 4: Next, add some layer styles to the layer [egg]. Double-click the thumbnail of the layer [Egg] to bring up the layer style dialog box and select [Inner Glow]. The specific parameter settings are as shown in the figure below.
Then select [Gradient Overlay] and set the parameters as shown in the figure below.
The colors of the middle color scale in the gradient editor are #e2c7ac, #f1df7d, #e4b422, #eedd8f, #e7b031 from left to right.
