This tutorial briefly introduces the color adjustment and partial beautification of character photos. The original picture material is already quite good, so as not to affect the aesthetics. The tutorial only slightly adjusts the colors. Then added transparent butterfly wings.

1. Open the original image material, create a hue/saturation adjustment layer, set the parameters as shown in Figure 1, check "Coloring", and then use a black brush to erase the character part. The effect is as shown in Figure 2.

2. Create a curve adjustment layer. The parameter settings are as shown in Figure 3, and the effect is as shown in Figure 4.

3. Create a new layer, press Ctrl + Alt + Shift + E to stamp the layer, select the Lasso tool, outline the selection shown in Figure 5, press Ctrl + Alt + D to feather, the value is 50, and press Delete after confirmation. For the selected part, press Ctrl + D to cancel the selection, and then change the layer blending mode to "Multiply". The effect is as shown in Figure 6.

4. Create a new layer, stamp the layer, click on the Channels panel, select the green channel, press Ctrl + A to select all, press Ctrl + C to copy, click on the blue channel, press Ctrl + V to paste, return to the Layers panel. Add a mask to keep only the character part, and erase the other parts with a black brush. The effect is as shown in Figure 7.

5. Duplicate the background layer, press Ctrl + Shift + ] to move it to the top of the layer, and then change the layer blending mode to "Multiply", the effect is as shown in Figure 8.
