1. When did you first come into contact with the Internet? For what reason.
I should be one of the older Internet practitioners. I entered the industry in 2002. Some of the well-known webmasters now, such as A Fei and Tu Wang, all debuted at that time.
I studied business administration in college, but I was very interested in computers and the Internet. In 2002, I created a free personal homepage. By chance, I discovered that I could make money through online advertising, and I became very fascinated. 3. Have you encountered any difficulties during the operation of the website? How were these difficulties solved?
It can be said that we encountered very big difficulties when we were building this website. The reason was that we did not do a good job in market research when we started building this website. After we started building the website, we discovered that there were already three influential websites in Xianning. One is from a large company, one is from a local media, and the other is run by a powerful local webmaster. This makes us very passive and feels like we are riding a tiger, but we must persevere. It can be said that we have not overcome these difficulties and are still working hard to solve them. First, we have advertised on TV, distributed leaflets, and sent small gifts to promote our website through offline means. Second, we have promoted our website online through With the support of some friends, I posted some soft articles on some well-known websites, and asked friends from some big websites to help me put up friendly links and do SEO. The third thing is of course that we work hard to create our own content.
4. What is the website’s profit model?
The profit models of local websites are similar, mainly through advertising, group buying, etc. We have successfully attracted some advertisements, but we have no plans to make a profit in the first year. We are still working hard to invigorate the popularity of the website. I think in Before this, everything was just a cloud.
5. The biggest gain and uniqueness of being a webmaster.
I don’t know how to describe my gains. My biggest feeling is the joy in pursuing my ideal career, such as experiencing the support and friendship of some friends, and the secret joy of seeing the website traffic increase.
People say that character determines destiny. I have not been successful to this day. It must be that my character is defective in some aspects, and there are still big deficiencies in some aspects. But I think I still have some advantages. For example, when facing criticism from others, I choose to communicate more than to fight. When faced with difficulties, I do not shrink back but move forward more courageously. When faced with the ridicule of others, I didn't feel pain but smiled slightly.
6. The future development direction or goals of the website.
