Looking for ground customers
Tang Zhigui: What you do is in the construction of local websites. To build local websites, you need to walk on the ground. How do you find customers on the ground?
Ma Kai: That’s it. First of all, I search the Internet for the company I want to promote. When I find that there is no website, I call them first and listen to their tone. When I feel that I can Write a plan, of course the price is very low, and then go to their company to negotiate.
Tang Zhigui: This method is indeed good. Has anyone rejected your company?
Ma Kai: Haha, if you say no, no one will believe it. Those who refused at the beginning can say a lot.
Tang Zhigui: Being rejected is a very depressing thing. Have you ever summed it up? What are your thoughts?
Ma Kai: I summarized a lot at the beginning, but finally found out that they thought it was useless to build a website. This may be related to the region. Few people do online marketing, so that is why it is like this; this is my personal opinion. I also have great feelings. I feel that this market has not yet been developed. It will be very good in a year or two. So I chose to persevere and started supplementing my marketing efforts.
Rejection & Success
Tang Zhigui: Then how did you promote it after being rejected repeatedly?
Ma Kai: This is also a method that a friend who is doing local website construction told me. He said that when building local websites, they should first look at the websites of well-made local companies and compare them with better websites made in other places. In addition, tell them about the benefits of building a corporate website and the current development of the Internet.
Tang Zhigui: What was the result?
Ma Kai: The results were very good. When I went there, I first told them about the current development of the Internet, and showed them many successful cases of local corporate websites. I also gave them a lot of information. Finally, I built a website for them for free. , I just spent a domain name and a space, and the requirement was to leave my website at the bottom of their website. As a result, they came to me within a few days. It was the role of my website that they made for free, because they didn’t know the role of the website I made for them. They asked me how to promote this website, and I told them many methods, but they were confused after hearing this, so they finally came to me to do the promotion, and they probably made 1,200 yuan that time, haha
Tang Zhigui: Well, this method is indeed good. How did you promote it later?
Ma Kai: Later, I followed this idea to promote. First, I checked whether their company’s domain name had been registered. If it was registered, I would find the pinyin of their company’s domain name or something else to register a domain name, and then make a simple Give them a corporate website. When they accept it, I will offer to optimize the website or choose a better paid website template for them. When they see that my paid template is more beautiful than the original one, they will be happy to buy it. . In addition, I also gave them some promotion methods, such as how to send high-quality external links, where to send them for better results, etc.

Ma Kai: Haha, as you know, all walks of life are separated by mountains. When they see these things, some of them don’t understand much, and some of them do it well, but the effect is not obvious, so they will come to me to ask me how to do it, so they are looking for me. At that time, I proposed a series of packages such as training to them. It can also be said to be secondary marketing.
Tang Zhigui: Gao Ming, could you please tell me how to promote it if we initially build an offline website? Where should we start? For example, how do we deal with customers? What should we do after being rejected?
Ma Kai: At first, I thought I should thoroughly understand the Internet development situation in this area. How many companies have websites, whether the local government pays attention to Internet development, whether there are any large website construction companies, and how they do it, etc.; When facing customers, we first make a plan. Personally, I recommend making two or three sets of plans to prepare for emergencies. We first discuss the current network development situation with customers and present some cases to them. If they refuse, I still think so. Let me find a personal reason, because I have a saying that there is nothing that cannot be promoted, only people who cannot promote it, haha.
