There is a popular saying in the SEO world: "Content is king, external links are king." This sentence summarizes the focus of today's SEO and the core operating techniques and work content. Search engine optimization (SEO) is divided into two parts: 1. Internal optimization of the website; 2. External optimization of the website. The internal optimization of the website is mainly reflected in the content, structure, internal links, etc. of the website, of which the content is very important. External optimization is mainly about the construction of high-quality links. In such a situation, the classic summary of "content is king, external links are emperor" is derived.
Yousai SEO will not talk about website content today. We will only talk about link issues based on some of our own experiences, and talk about the adverse effects and disadvantages that rapid increase in external links will have on the website.
In March, I was responsible for the promotion and optimization of a new website. The goal was to achieve the top three natural rankings on Baidu within 3 months for several identified industry core keywords. After starting the operation, I used some of my own site resources to start building links. Since it was my own resources, there was no problem with the control. I added links to all my websites, and some even had full-site links. There are several websites with a PR value of around 3. In order to make things relatively natural, I did not operate them as one-way links, but as real friendly links.
About half a month later, my related keywords had soared to the homepage, but the next day my website was obviously demoted by search engines. The homepage of the SITE website was not ranked first, and our brand keywords were not ranked on the first 10 pages. Can't find it. This situation lasted for nearly 20 days. Finally, after analysis and observation, I believed that the website had entered Baidu's sandbox. The reason is very simple, that is, the external links grow too fast in a short period of time, which makes the search engines feel very unnatural. In this way, the search engines will naturally put your website into a dark room and observe it for a period of time.
During the period of time when I entered the Baidu sandbox, I did not stop building external links, but I changed my strategy and found some websites related to the theme of my website to make friendly links, and used soft articles to drive them. Every day I would control external links. After the number of links built, Baidu finally released my website, and after releasing it, all the keywords I originally determined achieved the expected ranking results. The duration is about 1 month and 20 days.
After this incident, I would like to give some advice to our SEOers: SEO work is a long-term accumulation process. It must be carried out step by step and persevere. This is a matter of haste, waste of speed. Rushing for success can only be counterproductive! Reprinted from: http://www.yosite.net/ Please indicate the source for reprinting!
