In March this year, I went to a company to take over the online promotion work of the corporate website. Before I went to the company, I found that the corporate website was included in Google and it was normal, but Baidu included only one page on the homepage. By looking at the source code of the homepage, I found that the website It turned out that illegal links were implanted. It turns out that the website was punished by Baidu. I know that this work is quite challenging. I have only seen technical articles on Baidu K site restoration after Baidu K site was included in the forum, but I have never tried to restore the work because it takes a long time for me to restore the inclusion. It was still an unknown number, but luckily it was included on the homepage, so it wasn’t completely K-ed, so I accepted the job.
So starting from March 20th, I started optimizing this website. It turns out that this website has been managed and maintained by other website optimization companies. The company's personnel only get back-end login accounts to update the content of the website, and there is no actual website management. On the first day, I obtained the FTP login permission from the space provider to ensure that I had the permission to modify the source code of the web page content. So I checked the source code of the website and found that since all pages contained a Bottom.asp file, this was an illegal link file implanted, pointing all website pages to multiple third-party websites. These websites were problematic, so As a result, Baidu fined the website. So I immediately deleted these codes and eradicated illegal external links. In the later time, what I need to do is to add the website’s original articles and website backlinks. The method is so simple, everyone who has studied SEO understands it, but the process is thought-provoking.
First, let’s talk about the original articles on the website. When it comes to adding original articles to the website, I don’t mean to update how many articles every day and at the specified time like the forum said. First of all, the products on the corporate website have already been uploaded. There are no new products for the time being, and the company’s news is relatively limited. , so I publish an original article on the website every 1-2 days, the content is the application of the product and some industry news. Due to the real-time and extensive nature of industry news, a piece of news is usually published on a major industry website, and is later reprinted and published on other major industry websites. If it is reprinted at this time, the chance of being included in Baidu will be reduced, but it will be Considered a collection site. So I added an "article introduction" at the beginning of the article and some "conceptual comments" at the end, and then published it on the website. Although it is not an original article, it still has its own content, which increases the readability of the article and spiders will not let it go. . In terms of product application articles, I collect product application articles on the Internet, simply explain the product in technical terms, add original articles, and increase the included pages of the website. This can be found out by querying Google's included pages.
Secondly, add external links to the website. Now I see from the forum that many SEO people go to the forum every day and are busy adding external links. This is a chore. But I didn't do this. I mainly made external links through blogs and trading website platforms. During this period, I only published 2 forum articles with website links. As an enterprise, it has product advantages, and a trading platform is the best choice for optimization in this area. I registered an account on a trading platform, first filled in the company's information and the link to the website, and then added 3-4 products. Introduction and add the company's link, you can observe whether Baidu includes these pages in a few days. If it is included in Baidu, you can rest assured to update the product on it. This type of trading platform generally has a relatively high weight, and some platforms will automatically carry the company's anchor link under each product, directly linking to the company's website. It is a A rare platform. In terms of blogging, I initially used Sina's blog and published two articles every day, publishing some industry news, product application articles, and company news. Anyway, I could think of the content of the blog by myself. Note that the word count of blog articles should be more than 500 words to make them easier to be indexed by Baidu. Later, I tried to reduce the frequency of posting to 1 or 2 days to update the blog, because casually written articles are of no use if they are not included. It is better to concentrate on preparing articles so that they are included, which is better than doing it blindly. Also saves time.
During this process, because I needed to optimize Google's ranking, I still changed the title, keywords, and description of the website. Because the previous title was just the company name, and the keywords were not prominent, which was very detrimental to the ranking. Because in order to update the content, the structure of the website homepage is slightly modified. People who understand SEO will know that this will easily cause the Baidu homepage snapshot to not be updated. Yes, because of this, Baidu's snapshot stopped. However, since the company has been punished by Baidu before and only the homepage is left, such optimization on Baidu is meaningless. Because the company's products are mainly sold abroad, most customers use the Google search engine, and they can only optimize Google while waiting for Baidu to recover.
While waiting for Baidu to recover, I used website analysis tools to observe Baidu spider visits every day. After deleting the problematic code, the number of visits gradually increased, from more than 20 at the beginning to more than 50; Google visits also increased from 10 a day. It increased to more than 20 times many times, and later the highest number of visits was more than 100 times a day. What’s interesting is that on April 12, Baidu’s included pages were displayed from 1 to 9. I was very happy at the time, thinking that the recovery had begun, but after passing the site command, only 1 page was displayed. Although I was a little disappointed, it was good to have an increase. At the beginning, now I think this may be a precursor to website recovery. On April 20, I registered on the Baidu Webmaster Platform. Through the backend, I saw that the website had an index volume of more than 100 pages. I understood that the articles on the website were included in Baidu, but they were not released for the time being. It seems that the only option is to wait patiently for Baidu. This process is really difficult because I don’t know when it will end. On Saturday, May 19, when I used the webmaster tool to check it again, I was pleasantly surprised. Baidu released the internal pages of the website. There were more than 200 pages, and the site command could be used to check the inclusion status of the website. Through calculations before and after, it took almost 2 months to restore the website inclusion. During this period, I deepened my understanding of Baidu Spider through access logs. Now the next step is to update the snapshot of the website. Now that the internal pages of the website have begun to be released, I believe that the time for updating the snapshot will not be too far away.
Surprisingly, the website was blocked again on May 25 (Friday), and only 9 pages were included. On May 26, only the homepage was included, which made me worried whether it was the original page. In the early stage, the website was not restored to normal, but was caused by Baidu's adjustments. After worrying for two days, on May 27, when I used the tool to check the website status again, I found that the number of included pages from a week ago had reappeared. It turned out to be Baidu's adjustment, which made me worry that the previous efforts were in vain and I had to start all over again. Come again.
On May 31st, Baidu finally updated the date of the homepage snapshot to May 30th. In the past two months, I have gone through the recovery process of a website that was hacked by Baidu. During this period, I also tried to complain to Baidu. These processes gave me the opportunity to verify the discussion of various SEO articles on the Internet about this situation, and also involved titles and keywords. Major modifications. The website needs to be updated with original articles. The external links do not need to be many but they need to be stable, even if there is only one per day. Now judging from my own experience, Baidu really values the customer experience. What all website managers need is to work hard on the website. To improve the user experience is to do a good job in search engine optimization.
