This tutorial mainly uses the Neat Image filter for skin resurfacing. This filter will maintain the details of the skin while refining the skin. However, you must control the values when setting the parameters. Try various parameter settings until you are satisfied. If you don’t have this filter, you can download it online.

1. Open the original image and copy one layer. Use the Neat Image filter to smooth the skin, and set the parameters as shown below.
2. Use the stamp tool and the repair brush tool to repair the remaining acne on the face, then add a layer mask, and use a black brush to erase the hair, eyes, eyebrows, lips and other parts that do not require skin polishing.
The acne on the character's face has basically been repaired, but the skin is darker and needs to be brightened. Press Ctrl + Alt + 2 to bring up the highlight selection, and press Ctrl + Shift + I to invert the selection. Create a Curves adjustment layer and confirm directly. Then change the layer blending mode to "Screen" and the opacity to: 60%, as shown below.
4. Finally, adjust the overall brightness and sharpen appropriately.
