Many friends don’t know how to adjust the video ratio when they first start making videos. The following is a tutorial on how to adjust the video ratio in Wondershare Filmora . Friends who need it, please come and take a look.
1. In the first step of opening Wondershare Filmora9, select the scale and select "New Project". You can customize your project's scale, resolution, and frame rate by selecting File, Project Preferences.
If you don't make a manual selection, the software will default to the project aspect ratio you last selected.
What if you forget to choose the appropriate proportions when building a new project? Don’t worry, Wondershare Filmora supports modifying the video ratio at any time during the production process. Select the settings button in the lower right corner of the preview window to adjust parameters such as project scale, resolution, bitrate, etc.
2. Import the video into the media library, drag it to the timeline, select the video, and click the 6th icon above the timeline to crop the screen and zoom the lens.
Select the same ratio as the project to crop the video frame.
Since the proportions of the front and rear videos are inconsistent, if the video has black edges, the picture will have to be sacrificed.
3. After completing video editing, the resolution of the video is also crucial. It represents the vertical and horizontal pixel values of the video and stipulates the correct proportion of the video. The larger the value, the clearer the video.
When outputting video, we can choose the resolution of the video ourselves. It should be noted that the ratio of the resolution should be consistent with the ratio of the video screen.
