The backlight effect is rarely used in design, because when it is backlit, the characters become black, but the edges and outlines of the characters will have strong reflections. Using this effect, coupled with a nice background and some gorgeous brushes , the effect can be very personal and attractive. Original picture

1. Create a new document of 500x330 pixels, fill the background with #010500, create a new layer, click on the screen with a large-caliber soft-angle white brush, and set the opacity to 60%.
2. Create a new layer and use soft-angle brushes with the foreground colors #f38c11 #2afaf0 #c94ce1. Click a few times at the bottom of the canvas and select the layer mode Overlay.
3. Create a new layer and paint a few times with a white soft-angled brush.
4. Filter > Blur > Radial Blur, and change the layer mode to Overlay.
5. Search the Internet for a picture of a person, use various tools to cut out the main character, and drag it into the document. I use the quick selection tool, which is only available in photoshop CS5.
6. Ctrl+T to enlarge some, fill it with black, ctrl+J to copy a layer, fill it with white, and move it to the bottom of the black layer. Add a mask to the white layer and remove some of the excess white.
7. Download the smoke material, drag it into the document, and use the layer mode to filter, one at the top of the character layer and the other at the bottom. Use other brushes to add light and shadow effects to the bottom.
8. Create a new layer at the bottom of the character layer, draw a perfect circle, Gaussian blur, add outer glow layer style, ctrl+G group, layer mode color dodge.
9. In order to create a backlight effect, download the hair brush, create a new layer, and click the white foreground color near the head a few times, or use the foreigner-effect hair directly, add a mask, and hide the excess parts.
