Source: Tutorial Network Author: HF_2048 This tutorial introduces how to quickly colorize cold-color images. The process is very simple: after opening the material picture, create a new layer, fill it with a cold color and change the layer blending mode to "Color" to get a cold color picture. In the later stage, add a layer mask, use a black brush to partially erase the character, and restore some of the original colors, so that the character will appear more individual. Original picture
final effect
1. Open the picture, click the "Create New Adjustment Layer" button, and select "Solid Color". Then choose a cool color you like, the one used here is: #95ABB8.
2. Set the blending mode of the solid color adjustment layer to "Color". The effect is as shown below. This step is to quickly adjust the image to a monochrome effect. This can also be done quickly using Hue/Saturation.
3. Select the brush tool, set the brush opacity to 10%, and set the foreground color to black. Use a brush to paint on the mask, erase the character's face, hands and scarf, and restore some of the original colors. The effect is as shown below.
Finally, adjust the overall color to complete the final effect.
