The author is now doing promotion in a foreign trade company. Although it is divided into several groups, the promotion is basically "individual operations", and each person is responsible for the promotion of several sites. This model is very much like the individual webmaster, but it cannot give full play to the advantages of the team, and the abilities that each person is good at cannot be effectively used. Everyone usually does their own thing and doesn’t communicate much. The author believes that the most important thing in SEO is communication, and sincerely exchange your own experiences and insights. If you are purely deceiving, please avoid it. Although this model looks like unity on the surface, there is no team at all. First of all, the SEO team needs a core person: the SEO director, who is responsible for formulating plans, evaluating the operability of the plans, and analyzing keywords. The supervisor should know every member of the team "well" so that the team's core capabilities can be maximized.
The third mode: division of labor mode
The author believes that this model should be regarded as a relatively "standardized" SEO team model. The division of labor is very detailed, and there are website editors responsible for writing soft articles. There is an external link specialist who is responsible for the construction of external links to the website. There are people responsible for on-site optimization, as well as technical staff (including website programmers, artists, etc.). The advantage of the division of labor model is that "everyone has his own duties and responsibilities", and this is considered a team. How team members can cooperate effectively is also a question worth thinking about. Of course, the supervisor must find a way to coordinate well. However, this model may not be suitable for all companies. The author believes that a good team does not seek luxury or scale. The most important thing is to use the team's capabilities to achieve the best benefits for the company.
The fourth model: seo company
The division of labor model introduced above is already a very "standardized" model, and generally larger companies should have this model. As for the fourth model, it is the author's own fantasy. This model may be realized in the future, but now I can only imagine it. An SEO company is different from other SEO teams. It is a company, which is unprecedented in the SEO industry. The author believes that an SEO company must have the following departments:
1. Soft article department: Responsible for writing promotional soft articles for corporate websites or e-commerce websites. Soft articles include updated articles on the site and promotional soft articles.
2. Promotion Department: Responsible for all promotion work of corporate websites or e-commerce websites, mainly including on-site optimization and off-site optimization.
3. Technical department: Responsible for solving all technical problems of corporate websites or e-commerce websites. Of course, the most important thing is to cooperate with the promotion department.
4. Planning departments: Responsible for formulating feasible optimization plans and online marketing plans for each corporate website. Track and evaluate the feasibility of the plan, etc.
